how did i get here?
I grew up in central New Jersey, slightly more than an hour's drive from New York City. At Communications High School, I got to flesh out my writing, speaking and artistic skills in a wide variety of communications-oriented classes.
After high school, I attended UMass Amherst, where my field of study shifted from sustainable agriculture, to landscape architecture, then to urban planning. During my time at UMass, I gained diverse experience from numerous internships and positions on and off campus.
Since graduation, I began working at the Town of Ashby, MA as their Land Use Agent and at the USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System in Hadley. I'm currently working at the City of Springfield, MA as an Economic Development Project Manager where I manage numerous grant programs and economic development projects of various scales.
When I'm not working, I'm working out, taking care of my gecko and axolotl, painting, or adding to and enjoying my record collection.
